Landowner’s Guide to Determining Weight and Value of Standing Pine Trees - The objective of this fact sheet is to provide landowners and procurement foresters with a method of accurately estimating the weight of standing trees. Research conducted by the Arkansas Forest Resources Center has resulted in equations for accurately predicting the outside bark weight of loblolly pine boles (trunks or stems). These equations require only the standard tree measurements.
